Elwyn California is a Fountain Valley based non-profit Community Rehabilitation Program providing vocational rehabilitation, employment services, and employment support services to people with disabilities since 1974.  Programs and services reach people throughout Orange and Los Angeles Counties.  Personalized program planning, staff flexibility, and a focus on outcomes are the hallmarks of Elwyn California’s service delivery and reputation.

Our Production Center provides superior services to businesses in need of labor to package, assemble, collate, shrink wrap, and or blister pack their products.  The Production Center is part of our Work Activity Program and provides our clients with paid work opportunities to develop work skills & habits that they will put to good use when community based employment is their goal.  Our prices are competitive, our quality is excellent, and we keep our promise for on-time delivery to our customers.

Since 1985 Elwyn California has offered Supported Employment Services.  Our Job Developers work closely with our clients to help them find the right job match.  Then our Job Coaches provide on-the-job support to ensure job success.  Job Coaching includes a wide variety of personalized support services including but not limited to:  new employee orientation assistance; travel training; work skill instruction, meeting and getting along with co-workers; work quality assistance; meeting productivity expectations.  We work with more than 100 employers through direct hire of our clients or via contract services to provide individual and group placement employment options. 

Elwyn California has evolved into a premier, one-stop-shop vendor for Community Contract Services in three key areas, federal contracts, state contracts, and commercial contracts . These contracts provide about 50 jobs for people with disabilities and employ about 17 staff members. Not only do the contracts provide meaningful employment with good wages (and some have benefits), but they contribute almost 2 million in revenue to Elwyn’s bottom line. In the past 12 years, Elwyn California has expanded its square feet of quality, custodial services by 1,300%!

Elwyn California’s employment programs are accredited by CARF, The Accreditation Commission.

Elwyn California also offers Adult Day Programs that focus on meaningful activities in community-based settings for individuals who are not seeking employment.  These programs are licensed by the Department of Social Services Division of Community Care Licensing and are available in our Fountain Valley and Torrance locations.  The Torrance program is known as the South Bay Clubhouse.
